Solitude Is Coming

Solitude is a horror film unlike any other thats come before it.  It follows the story of a family over the course of 75 years.  James Erikson finds a box containing newspaper clippings, diaries, journals, pictures, police reports, and video tapes that tell a story that begins in 1939 of a property his family owns that has more on it than what most people know.

Each clue James pulls from the box is a puzzle that slowly comes together, telling him a tale that will change his view on his family forever.  Solitude is told through six different segments that come together to create a flowing story.  Each segment takes place in a different decade, all of which are shot and edited as if they were filmed in that period of time.

Below is the Teaser Trailer to Solitude.  If you like the trailer follow us on Facebook and like our page, click here to get there.  Also to the right of this post in the first of six posters that will be released in the coming months.  Each poster will depict each segment by the decade they're based in.  Stay tuned for more soon.

Home Depot Commercial.

Ever wanted to make a commercial for the hell of it, to see if you can come up with something better than what's on the television?  Well I did and actually took a few hours out of my day off to create a video for The Home Depot.  Check out the video here of what I've created and let me know what you think of it by commenting below the video on YouTube.

Ben Affleck is Batman

Funny how just last week I mentioned Christian Bale might be back as the Dark Knight for the new Batman/Superman film, but just a few hours ago it was announced that Ben Affleck will be Batman.  I definitely disagree with this choice.  I disagree for a couple reasons, first off is the fact that the last super hero outing that Affleck tackled was Daredevil, a movie which didn't do well at the box office nor did it  create enough positive buzz with comic book fans.  Second reason is, Affleck isn't the greatest actor in the world, and is dead wrong for the role, this is of course my opinion and I could be wrong when the actual film comes out in a couple years but this is how I feel at this moment.  Thirdly, Warner Brothers is loosing out big by not bringing back Bale as Batman.  He has a built in fan base for the role he's filled for six years now with an origin story already told.  Why not use him again?  You can see a link to a youtube video I made here for further thoughts on the topic.

Production So Far.

We have one more shooting day left before we wrap on Solitude for the summer.  I would just like to thank everyone who has made this film possible, most notably Ben Enke (director of photography), Darla Edin (visual effects makeup), Cheri Anderson (production design), and all of the actors who have participated so far.  You guys were great during production and I look forward to coming back in October and January to finish what we've started.  Click here for a new blooper video.  Stay tuned for more blogs in the near future.  You can follow us on Facebook by clicking here.

Throwing Knives

Every wondered how to throw a throwing knife?  It's rather difficult, but the guy in the video below has found am easy way to get around it.  Check it out at the video here.  The throwing knife is properly balanced in order for anyone to throw a knife, the key is in how you throw it.  Of course there are ways around a proper way of throwing it, one instance is the kind of knife.
The knife below is what I call the cheating mans throwing knife, being that you'll stick it just about everytime its thrown, but its pretty bad ass.
